Steam Locomotive - 71515

Since arriving at the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway in late April 2010, 71515 has starred in a number of TV productions aswell as becoming a YouTube celebrity within hours of the first video being uploaded. See just some video's below.

Prior to the opening weekend at the end of May 2010, 71515 was used with class 08 diesel D4157 to publicise the opening of our extension to Blaenavon High Level. This was duly filmed by ITV Wales News, for inclusion in the 6 o’clock news report on May 28th 2010.

During the opening weekend to Blaenavon High Level, Fly On the Wall Films in association with Torfaen TV came to the railway to film an average day on the railway.
